INGREDIENTS

2 sl firm sandwich bread (1 oz. each)
1 lb lean ground turkey breast
½ c shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
½ medium onion, grated or minced finely
12 mini potato rolls
¼ tsp salt
⅛ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  Lettuce, tomato slices, onions and ketchup for condiments
RECIPE

  • Pulse bread in food processor until fine, place in large bowl.
  • Add turkey, cheese, grated onions, and salt and pepper if desired.
  • Gently mix together and form 12 3-ounce patties.
  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook patties for about 5 minutes per side or until internal temperature registers 165ºF with an instant read thermometer.
  • Serve with rolls and top with your favorite condiments.
