INGREDIENTS

2 c old fashioned rolled oats (not quick cooking)
1 c 1% milk
2 medium apples, peeled, cored and diced
½ c finely chopped walnuts
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
RECIPE

  • Prepare oatmeal according to package instructions.
  • When oatmeal is just about finished, add apples, walnuts, syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg, stir gently.
  • Divide among 4 bowls and top with ¼ cup milk.
