INGREDIENTS

8 c Romaine lettuce, cleaned and torn into pieces
1 small loaf French bread
  Italian seasoning
½ tbsp olive oil
¼ c grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp lemon zest, minced
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp sugar
½ c olive oil
2 garlic cloves, pressed
RECIPE

  • Slice bread into cubes, toss in 1 T olive oil and Italian seasoning, place on baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F. for 10-15 minutes or until light brown and toasty, set aside.
  • Put lemon zest, white wine and balsamic vinegars, sugar, garlic, ¾ cup olive oil, salt and pepper to taste in a jar, close tightly and shake well, set aside.
  • Toss lettuce, croutons, dressing and parmesan to dress and enjoy!
