| RECIPE |
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the soy sauce, oil, honey, ginger root, and garlic; cover loosely with a damp paper towel. Heat in microwave on 50% for 1 minute, then stir, heat again for 30 seconds.
- Place chicken
breasts in a shallow
dish. Pour soy sauce
over chicken and let
sit while preparing grill.
- Preheat a grill for medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and reserve by placing into a small sauce pan. Bring marinade to a boil, and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes to reduce slightly and kill any bacteria from chicken. Set aside for basting.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook chicken on the prepared grill 5 to 8 minutes per side to an internal temperature of 165º on an instant read thermometer. While grilling, baste frequently with remaining marinade that was set aside. Chicken will turn a beautiful golden brown.
