HOTEL INFORMATION:

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, located at 4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33140, is the site for the 2009 Dominick F. Barbera EMS Conference. A room block has been reserved at the Fontainebleau. Make your room reservation by calling the hotel directly at 1-800-548-8886 or (305) 538-2000 and identifying yourself as an IAFF EMS Conference attendee or use the Hotel Reservations link. You DO NOT need to enter an access code on the form.

The hotel room rate established for this Conference is $159/single or double, plus tax. The reservation deadline with the hotel is May 22, 2009. All reservations made after the deadline are on space available basis at prevailing room rates.

The IAFF has reserved rooms (the IAFF room block) for the 2009 Dominick F. Barbera EMS Conference at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.  The rooms reserved for our attendees are taken off the general market and held for our attendees' exclusive use. If these rooms are not filled by the date of the meeting, the IAFF pays a penalty for the rooms that are held and not used. Over the long term, these penalties will result in decreased programming, loss of meeting space and increased fees.  Please help your union by making your reservations at the Fontainebleau Hotel.

To confirm a room assignment, the hotel requires a one-night deposit, plus tax for each room. Checks and major credit cards are accepted to establish prepayment. All credit cards used to prepay will be charged immediately when the deposit is made. If paid by other means, the deposit must be received no later than 14 days after the reservation is made. All deposits are completely refundable (if reservations are canceled 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival. The deposit will hold the room until 6:00 a.m. the morning after the scheduled date of arrival. Please note, hotel check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
