Conference Schedule

The 2012 Conference will be held March 25 - 29, 2012, at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC.  Please see the agenda for Conference schedule and activities.


Conference Registration

Online registration is now closed.

Conference Fee and Deadline

The registration fee is $475 per person for those registering by February 24, 2012; the late registration fee is $550 for those registering after February 24. 

Members are encouraged to register for the Conference by making a personal, voluntary contribution to FIREPAC.  Additional information on this option is available here.

Capitol Hill Appointments

Conference participants should schedule appointments with their representatives, senators and their staffs several weeks before the Conference. 

Call your legislators' Washington, DC offices directly or call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask for your member's office. The IAFF recommends that you schedule your appointments for Wednesday, March 28. 
 

Conference Materials

The IAFF will provide each participant with a 2012 Fire Fighters Issues Book outlining key legislative initiatives, plus additional detailed materials to assist you in your lobbying efforts. 

A preliminary copy of the 2012 Fire Fighters Issues Book is now available.  All Conference attendees will receive printed copies of the final Issues Book on March 25 upon check in. 

Additionally, detailed materials contained in the Legislative Conference Binder are now available in electronic form.  All members will have access to the Binder as well as the Issues Book via the IAFF Web Ap, which may be accessed from your tablet, smartphone, or browser.
