CONFERENCE INFORMATION   

Conference Schedule

The Conference will be held from March 11-14, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, DC. Be sure to make your hotel and travel arrangements to allow you to attend the all day presidential forum on Wednesday, March 14th.

Conference Registration

You can register for the Conference on-line by filling out the registration form. You can also print out the form, and send it to IAFF via mail or fax (202-783-4570). Important for FIREPAC contributors: If you wish to register for the conference with a FIREPAC donation, please read the below FIREPAC information to make sure your donation is properly credited.

Conference Fee and Deadline

Registration fee is $375 per person for those registering by February 10, 2007. The late registration fee is $450 for those registering after February 10; FIREPAC Leadership Trust Registration is $500; and the FIREPAC Founders Circle Registration received by February 10 is $375. See FIREPAC information below to make sure your donation is properly credited.

Capitol Hill Appointments

All Conference participants should schedule appointments with their Representatives and Senators prior to coming to Washington, DC. Call your legislators’ Washington, DC offices directly or call the Capitol switchboard at (202)224-3121 and ask for your member’s office. The IAFF recommends that you schedule your appointments for Tuesday, March 13.

Conference Materials

The final edition of the 2007 Fire Fighter Issues Book is now available:  2007 Issues Book

The IAFF encourages you to share this book with your member of Congress prior to your visit during the Legislative Conference. 

All Conference attendees will receive printed copies of the Issues Book on March 11 upon check in.
