Scholarships
The IAFF sponsors scholarship programs for students attending colleges and universities. Detailed information is provided below. In addition are links detailing scholarships from other organizations that may be of interest to IAFF members and their families.

W. H. "Howie" McClennan Scholarship
Presents awards annually to the sons, daughters or legally adopted children of fire fighters who have died in the line of duty to attend a university, accredited college or school of higher learning in the United States or Canada.

Presents two awards to IAFF members in good standing to attend the
Harvard University Trade Union Program.

Presents one award annually to IAFF members in good standing to attend the Labour College of Canada Residential Program in Ottawa.

awards scholarship funds to IAFF members to attend the National
Labor College.
