Washington Fire Fighters Work to Assist Severely Injured Brother

December 6, 2011 – South King County, WA Local 2024 fire fighter Wynn Loiland was assessing the scene of a car accident on an Interstate highway when another vehicle lost control and hit him. Loiland suffered severe head trauma and broken bones. Local 2024 is doing what it can to help the family, including setting up a fund to help offset any additional costs incurred by this horrible accident.

“We want the family to be able to visit and look after Brother Loiland without having to think about any additional expenses,” says Local 2024 President Ryan Herrera. “He is still in intensive care and will probably remain there for quite some time.”

To donate to the fund, send checks with a note that it is for the “Wynn Loiland Fund” payable to:

South King Firefighters Foundation
