Washington Fire Fighters Work to Assist Severely Injured Brother
December 6, 2011 – South King County, WA Local 2024 fire fighter Wynn Loiland
was assessing the scene of a car accident on an Interstate highway when another vehicle
lost control and hit him. Loiland suffered severe head trauma and broken bones.
Local 2024 is doing what it can to help the family, including setting up a
fund to help offset
any additional costs incurred by this horrible accident.
“We want the
family to be able to visit and look after Brother Loiland without having to
think about any additional expenses,” says Local 2024 President Ryan Herrera.
“He is still in intensive care and will probably remain there for quite some
time.”
