September 17, 2009 – East St. Louis, IL Local 23 has
prepared a television ad alerting citizens of the dangers of a City proposal to
close a fire station and lay off 13 fire fighters. The ad will run through
September 21 when fire fighters will hold an informational picket at City Hall.
