Mesa Fire Fighters Establish Relief Fund for Fire Victims 

March 5, 2009 – No one understands the ravages of residential fires better than those who race to rescue the victims -- fire fighters. That's why Arizona's United Mesa Fire Fighters Local 2260 has donated $1,000 to establish a fund for the family of victims who died in a house fire March 2. The money was donated through its East Valley Firefighter Charities, created by Mesa Local 2260 to support the community in a myriad of ways. The mission is to extend fire fighter support “beyond the call.”

Contributions to help East Valley Firefighter Charities support the family can be made at any Bank of America branch.
