Seahawk Super Fans See Super Bowl Win in Person
February 11, 2014 -- Bremerton, WA Local 437 fire fighters Jeremy Dixon and Benny Cammarata are lifelong Washington Seahawks fans, so for Super Bowl XLVIII, there was only one place for them to be – New Jersey.
As part of the once-in-a-lifetime experience, Dixon and Cammarata wore fire helmets made by Cammarata’s father-in-law in the official Seahawk colors and team decals.
“Wearing the fire helmets really made them stand out in the crowd,” says Local 437 Secretary-Treasurer Doug Baier. The New England Sports Network even featured the two men. Dixon and Cammarata also say that other fire fighters attending the game asked about the helmets and where to purchase their own.
Dixon and Cammarata say that the trip was definitely worth the effort and that the final score (Seahawks 43-Denver Broncos 8) was just a bonus.
