Carozza Re-elected Chair of Federation of State and Provincial Fire Fighters

October 9, 2012 – Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association (UPFFA) of Connecticut President Peter Carozza has been re-elected to a second term as Chair of the Federation of State and Provincial Professional Fire Fighters (FSPPFF). The election took place at the organization’s fall meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

“Over the past two years, I have been privileged to serve as chair of this great organization,” says Carozza. “I look forward to continuing to work with state and provincial leaders to respond appropriately to labor issues.”

California Professional Firefighters President Lou Paulson was re-elected vice chair and Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois Secretary-Treasurer Tom Roate was elected FSPPFF Secretary-Treasurer.

The FSPPFF was formed to give IAFF state and provincial leadership a better understanding of current events and legislation that affect fire fighters across the United States and Canada.
