Save the Date for Professional Firefighters Golf Tournament

June 22, 2009 – The 46th Annual U.S. and Canadian Professional Firefighters Golf Tournament will be held September 6-9, 2009, at the Amelia Island Plantation Hotel and Resort in Amelia Island, Florida. Miami-Dade, FL Local 1403 is this year’s host.

Montreal fire fighter Roger LaPierre (3/14/17-9/23/91), established the tournament in 1964. Since then, several hundred fire fighters/golfers have gathered each September in different cities to golf and enjoy the camaraderie.

Cost per fire fighter is $585, which includes accommodations at the resort site, breakfast and dinner, three rounds of golf and more.
