Texas Local Hosts “Margarita Rocks” Festival May 2

April 29, 2009 – Laredo, TX Local 1390 fire fighters will hold the “Margarita Rocks” festival May 2, 2009, from 4:30 p.m.-2:00 a.m. at the City of Laredo’s Park and Ride. Proceeds will benefit various charities.

Tickets are $40 each and include a margarita taste-off and live music by L.A. Guns, Jani Lane (former Warrant front-man), Firehouse, Great White, Trixter, Skid Row and Ratt. As a special treat -- especially for those local to Laredo -- the city’s very own On Hiatus will also perform after winning the recent Battle of the Bands (also organized by Laredo Local 1390).

Proceeds will go toward Local 1390’s three charity funds, including its college scholarship fund, welfare fund ( benefits various local charities) and burn victims fund (for families displaced by fire).
