Anchorage Hosts 32nd Annual IAFF Hockey Tournament

September 29, 2008 – For the first time in its 32-year history, the IAFF Hockey Tournament will be held in the United States. Anchorage, AK Local 1264 will be hosting the event April 7-10, 2009, at the Subway Sports Center and Dempsey Anderson Center.

All players must be IAFF members. Teams will be divided into four divisions from beginner to ex-professional-level. Trophies will be awarded in each division.

Registration is $875 per team, which includes all tournament fees and a guaranteed minimum of four games. The deadline to enter is January 1, 2009, but teams are encouraged to register now because the tournament is limited to 40 teams.
