Green was chosen to be on “The Hunter’s Journal” after teaming up with a fellow church member with a connection with Powerhouse Productions, makers of program.

In the episode that features Green, the camera joins the hunters as they are flown to Alaska by bush pilot to an unpopulated area 100 miles from the nearest road.

“It is a strange feeling when the plane leaves and you hear nothing,” says Green, a 12-year fire fighter veteran. “You don’t truly appreciate complete silence until you experience it like that. We had two kills and an all-around great experience out there.”
